Can God’s Promises Be Trusted?
We believe that God’s promises of salvation are permanent are irrevocable. Nothing can separate God’s people from His love and mercy. But if that is true, then how can we explain the fact that most Israelites - God’s chosen people - rejected Jesus? Does their unbelief mean that God’s promises to them have failed? And if so, does that mean that we can no longer trust His faithfulness? In Romans 9, Paul tells us that God not unfaithful, nor is He unjust. He has a perfect plan of salvation, and He will be completely faithful to every promise He has ever made.
