Are we thankful people? Are we thankful when life is less than ideal? What exactly are we thankful for? While there are many things that may capture our hearts about God, these things are often expressions of God's Hesed. What is God's Hesed? Well, translators struggle to bring this powerful Hebrew word, Hesed, into English which is evidenced through the many different English words translators use in this Psalm (compare NASB, NIV, ESV, etc...), but "Loyal Love" (NET) is helpful.
