Mission

Southwood’s youth ministry exists to come alongside your Junior High and High School students and care for them during this time of significant growth in their lives through authentic discipleship, faithful serving, seeking truth, dependent prayer and serious fun. Grace Youth exists to help students FIND & FOLLOW JESUS.

what to expect

Service Times // 9 AM

Sunday mornings with Southwood Youth include a gathering in the Southwood Fellowship Wing. This program is tailored for 7th-12th graders and typically includes worship, Biblical teaching, and small group discussion.

Junior High // Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM

979, named after the Bryan/College Station area code, is what we call our evening youth group gathering. 7th and 8th graders meet on Wednesday nights at Southwood from 7-8:30pm to connect with their peers and study the Bible in small groups.

Service Times // SUNDAYS 6:30-8:30

979, named after the Bryan/College Station area code, is what we call our evening youth group gathering. 9th-12th graders meet on Sunday nights at Southwood from 6:30-8:30pm to connect with their peers and study the Bible in small groups.

Partnering with Parents

Parenting is a team effort. We aim to faithfully partner with you as your student(s) grow in their walks with Christ. We want to partner with you as a parent and provide you with resources that help you be the parent God has empowered you to be.

Mission Trips

It is easy to forget that God is moving all over the world when we are so focused on what is happening in College Station. Through a variety of trips, we want to provide opportunities for students to see and experience the work God is doing. Our hope is that they return with a deeper understanding of God's mission and the role that they play in bringing the gospel to the nations.
