Come Join Us
Programming for Early Childhood is available during 9:15 & 11:00 services.
We are excited to have you join us! The welcome desk is designed to help you find the “right” spot for your child(ren). Greeters will ask you to fill out a registration form and for security reasons, you will be given a card and a pick up number. Most Sundays our volunteers can walk you to the classroom and introduce you to the teachers. We have a great team of well-trained staff to help answer any questions you may have.
Anderson: As you enter through the front doors, our Education wing is to your right.
Southwood: As you enter through the front doors, look to your left toward the back for the Education entrance.
Creekside: As you enter through the front doors, Elementary students are in the cafeteria. For Early Childhood, follow the signs to your right.
What to Bring
In a small labeled diaper bag, please include the following:
- Disposable diapers
- Change of clothes
- Pacifier, blanket, or other item your child may need to feel secure
- Bottle of milk, formula, juice, or water (a good practice even for nursing babies)
- Small snack if needed. We offer animal crackers, goldfish, or pretzels to our wobblers classes and older. If there is an allergy, please let us know. We do not offer peanuts, but some of our snacks may contain the warning label.
How to Say Goodbye and Check Up
After you have completed the check-in process, a quick goodbye is best. Some little ones do cry, but our loving staff will try to create interest in a toy or activity and assure them that you will return when the service is over. If your child continues to cry, the number from your child's check-in sticker will be displayed in the worship centers. If you see your number, please return to your child's classroom where you can comfort you child and choose how best to proceed.
We offer animal crackers, goldfish, pretzels, or rice chex . If there is an allergy, please let us know. We do not offer peanuts, but some of our snacks may contain the warning label.
For the protection of all children and workers, our ministry must decline admission to children with the following symptoms: fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, fresh cold, runny nose, or other signs of illness. Thank you for your help in keeping our kids healthy!
We have security measures and polices in place to ensure that you are able to enjoy the worship service knowing that your children are safe. Our check-in process is part of our security process. When you check in, you will receive a set of stickers with a number that corresponds to your child. You must have a copy of the sticker to receive your child from their classroom at the end of the service.
Our volunteers have been through an application and training process. The volunteer's nametag tells you that they have completed this process, which includes an extensive application, reference checks, a background check, and an interview.
