Stephen graduated from high school as a homeschool student in Tomball, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Communication in 2016. Growing up, Stephen was always around Christians, but he only began to experience God’s transforming love through Christ in high school. God’s grace led him to make a decision to devote his life to the spread of the gospel to the nations. In college, Stephen was heavily involved in Youth Impact, a mentoring ministry to underprivileged youth in the Bryan / College Station area. During the summers he worked at Mercy Street, which is a similar ministry in West Dallas, and went on a mission trip to the Middle East. Building relationships with people in the local community in order to share the love of Christ with them became his passion and primary focus in ministry while in College.
As a Fellow, Stephen aims to invest deeper in the local community to faithfully finish his ministry in Bryan / College Station and to prepare for long-term missions. He will be co-leading Youth Impact’s High School age group (9th-12th grade), which meets on Thursdays, while discipling the guys who are leading the four younger age groups (K-8th grade). Additionally, he will be ministering to international students as part of a Grace Launch community while working through a missions training curriculum.
