Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach's primary service is providing support to those in unplanned pregnancies. We guide them in assessing their options and assist them in applying for social services and finding health care. We provide transportation to appointments when needed and at times provide housing with host families when a girl finds herself in an unhealthy or unsafe living environment. Our goal is to see children raised in healthy, stable and prepared homes where the parents place the child’s best interest before their own. Some women who receive our services feel that adoption would provide the best future for her child. We facilitate open adoptions where adoptive families can remain in contact with birthfamilies to meet the child’s needs through the years. Service Opportunities through APO:
• Transportation Volunteers needed occasionally to help some APO girls get to appointments with doctors or social services.
• Host Families needed to house an APO girl during her pregnancy and for up to 6 weeks after delivery (see info at www.aggielandadoptions.org about host families).
