We are excited to have you join us. To make your visit more convenient, we have a check-in desk waiting for you. If you are visiting our Anderson campus, as you enter through the front doors, our Education wing is to your right. Stop by the yellow desk for more information and check in. If you are visiting the Southwood campus (opening August 08), as you enter through the front doors, look to your left toward the back for the Education entrance.

The welcome desk is designed to help you find the “right” spot for your child/ren. Our greeters will ask you to fill out a registration form and for security reasons, you will be given a card and a pick up number. Most Sundays our volunteers can walk you to the classroom and introduce you to the teachers. We have a great team of well-trained staff to help answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to save time when you visit, you can fill out a registration form before you come and bring it with you. You can also fill out the nursery weekly sign-in form beforehand.

For Nursery & Preschool What to Bring:

In a small diaper bag, please include the following:
  • two or three disposable diapers
  • a complete change of clothes
  • a Pacifier or other item your child may need to feel secure
  • a bottle of milk, formula, juice, or water (a good practice even for nursing babies)
Snack: we offer animal crackers, gold fish, or pretzels to our wobblers through pre-school. If there is an allergy, please let us know. We do not offer peanuts, but some of our snacks may contain the warning label.

Label all items with your child’s first and last name before arriving to your child’s class.

Saying goodbye and checking up: After you have completed the check-in process, a simple quick goodbye is probably best. Some little ones do cry, but our loving staff will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and assure them that you will return when the service is completed. If you are worried about your child, please have the floor supervisor check on the child for you—if they see or hear you they may become upset again. If your child continues to cry, you will be called by your number on the display to come and comfort your child.

Wellness policy: we operate a well-baby ministry. For the protection of all children and workers, our ministry must decline admission to children with the following symptoms: fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea, fresh cold, runny nose, or other signs of illness. Thank you for your help in keeping our babies healthy!

Playground: our preschoolers may visit the playground at times other than Sunday mornings if weather permits. For now, our children do not visit the playground on Sunday mornings.

Medical release form: If you are attending the Anderson campus, and your Sunday School class meets at the A&M middle school, please alert the volunteer at the desk and fill out a medical release form for each child.
