Connecting Students With Families
Southwood College Worship (Sundays 11am):
Adults: Southwood college ministry is looking for adults, single or married, to serve in our Sunday morning college service at 11am at Southwood. Find more information HERE.
Students: College ministry has adult-led table groups of students during our Sunday morning college service at 11am at Southwood. After worship and a sermon, adult table hosts lead an interactive discussion of the sermon with a table full of college students. Outside of Sunday mornings, opportunities exist to get to know the hosts better. See more information HERE.
Adults: Volunteer as a mentor couple! You'll help prepare dating and engaged couples for the life-long commitment of marriage. Groups meet Tuesday evenings during the semester. Contact Dean Hoelscher to find out more about volunteering.
Students: Engaged or seriously dating couples prepare for the life-long commitment of marriage in a group setting. Couples can expect a few hours of homework every week. Groups meet Tuesday evenings during the semester. Cost is $40/couple. Completion of this class will qualify for the $60 discount on your marriage license. See more information and register HERE.
Adopt an Aggie:
Families: Be a family away-from-family through Grace's Adopt-an-Aggie program! Many of our Aggie and Blinn students come to College Station missing their families. Welcome these students into your family and be a home-away-from-home for them.
Interested Anderson families please email Melissa Poling for more information.
Interested Creekside families please email Grace Bumguardner for more information
