First Baptist Church of Navasota is looking for a nursery worker during their women’s bible study. You would be working with another experienced partner watching and loving on some very precious toddler and preschoolers in a classroom setting. 
Tuesday’s starting September 4-November 6 from 9:30am-11:30am
Transportation from college station to Navasota can be provided. 
Pay is $8/hr plus additional funds from a love offering.

Looking for someone to assist a young man coming to attend Blinn College for Fall 2018.

He will need someone to assist in the AM and PM Mon – Fri and Sat- Sun.  This can be one person or several persons on different days.

His needs assistance in transferring to/from his wheelchair, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, laundry assist/clothes set up, and some toileting.  He will be living near the college campus.

Position begins August 18, 2018 and is a paid position through Medicaid.  The person would need to be 18 or older and pass a background check and then be placed on the employee list of the Home Health agency that is providing the services.

Work Days/Times: Shifts available are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 6:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday

Major/Essential Duties of Job:

Responsibilities will be to drive TAMU Paratransit routes. Paratransit is a shared ride service that operates on a fixed schedule. This service is for getting students, faculty and staff who need mobility assistance and are unable to use the fixed-route system around the A&M campus or between campus and their local residences.

Qualifications:

Must have a good driving record. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be enrolled as a student for a minimum of 9 hours per semester excluding (Summer Session) at TAMU, Blinn, Sam Houston etc. Must work an average of 12 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Must work the required minimum special events in addition to the minimum of 12 hours worked per week. $15.00 an hour will be paid on Football game events only. Transportation Services welcomes work study participants. Will be required to provide class schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous customer service. Interest in entering CDL training within 12 months of hire.

Position Title: Student Worker I

Work Days/Times: Shifts available are 6:30 am - 1:00am, Monday - Friday and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Major/Essential Duties of Job:

Drive TAMU Transit routes and charters. Once obtained, must be able to maintain a State of Texas Class B license with passenger endorsement. Starting Salary will be $9.75 an hour. $15.00 an hour will be paid on Football game events only.

Qualifications:

Must have a good driving record. Must be able to obtain State of Texas Class "B" vehicle operator's license (CDL with passenger endorsement).Must have a valid Texas driver license. The law states if you have a Visa type of F1, J1, F2 or J2 you are not eligible to obtain a Class “B” vehicle operator’s license (CDL with passenger endorsement). If you hold this type of Visa you will not be eligible for the position. Must be enrolled as a student for a minimum of 9 hours per semester excluding (Summer Session) at TAMU, Blinn, Sam Houston etc. Must work an average of 12 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Must work a minimum of 7 special events during the fall and 1 during the spring in addition to the minimum of 12 hours worked per week. Transportation Services welcomes work study participants.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service.

Other Instructions: This is a DOT covered position and the state requires pre-employment drug testing and random drug and alcohol testing. May be required to provide class schedule.
