What is Our Mission?
Club 56 is a ministry designed to meet 5th and 6th graders where they are, and challenge them to trust in and depend on God more fully. We provide an environment where students can LOVE God and others, GROW in their faith, SERVE God and others, and SHARE the love and truth of God. Hopefully, they will learn how their relationship with Christ affects everything about who they are and the life they live.
What does Club 56 Look like?
On Sunday morning, during the 9:15 service, Club 56 functions like a "mini" youth group at Anderson, Southwood, and Creekside. We have “hang out," large group, and small group time. There are snacks, crafts, gaga ball, 4-square, praise & worship, skits, Bible teaching, and awesome volunteer leaders that help the students dig deeper into the lesson, connect with each other, and share prayer requests. We look forward to seeing you there!
Are there events?
Club 56 serves as a forerunner in preparing the students for Youth Group. We have several opportunities for outreach, service, and fellowship throughout year: Gooey Games, Country Fair, Bonfire, and Spring Retreat. Small group leaders may schedule additional activities with their groups as well.
Club 56 Retreat will be Friday March 31st-April 1st. We'll be at Messiah's Ranch, about 35 minutes out of town. Join us for “SPARK” as we discover how we must RELY on God for our salvation, how God RECHARGES us as we live for Him, and how God RESTORES us when we feel broken and unworthy. Registration closes March 24th.
Additionally this semester, we have a Wednesday night Bible study over popular Chirstian songs. More info here.
