In September 1993 Michael’s family moved from College Station, where he was born six months earlier, to Bratislava, Slovakia as missionaries with Campus Crusade for Christ. Growing up on the mission field Michael gained a passion and vision to see the Gospel of Christ go forth among Slovaks and into the whole world. Throughout his time overseas he visited many countries, reaching the people of the Ethiopia, Uganda, France and others for the sake of the Gospel. It was also in high school that he began working at Frontier Camp in Grapeland, TX, which he continued into college.
He moved back to College Station his freshman year of college and graduated from Texas A&M four years later with a degree in Geography, class of 2015. While at A&M, Michael lead in the Grace college bible studies of Doulos and Global Vision and led worship for the youth. Michael also helped found the Factory Commission, a small college-aged ministry in Bryan.
In the June of 2015, he married his wife Alyssa and they are both now Fellows with the college ministry at Grace. Their primary role is to co-lead the Start Group ministry, drawing on their shared passion for the gospel to be heard by non-believers and to grow up new believes as they move from lost to leader in the body of Christ.
