“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” ~Ephesians 4:11-16
Benjamin is from Saginaw, Texas, which is north of Fort Worth. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Psychology in 2014. While in college, he was involved in the Corps of Cadets, Impact Ministry, Pine Cove, and in the College, Youth, and Children’s Ministries at Grace Bible Church. Benjamin became the Chaplain of the Corps his senior year and his heart to teach and to be a part of spiritual multiplication grew. Benjamin also got engaged to his high school sweetheart, Kara, the day he finished his undergrad and they were married nine months later. After he graduated from Texas A&M, he joined CRU Military and worked directly with cadets in the corps. His job was to mentor men who would go on to become officers in the Armed Forces.
After Benjamin finished his internship with CRU, he received an opportunity to serve with Grace Bible Church as the Club 56 and Youth Fellow at Grace-Creekside. As a Fellow, Benjamin gets to serve on both the Youth Staff and Club 56 Staff. This focuses on building relationships and equipping the college and young adult leaders to mentor 5th-12th graders. He will also be teaching every Sunday, planning and helping structure youth events, writing bible studies, and taking seminary level classes in his pursuit of being in full-time vocational ministry. Benjamin is passionate about raising up next generation leaders to reach the world for Christ through intentional relationships, honest conversations, and genuine fellowship.
