How Did We Get Here?
... Throughout the spring of 2007 the elders, deacons and pastors reached unanimous accord to expand our ministry capacities through a multi-site approach ("one church, many locations")... On Sunday night August 19th, the congregation clearly responded with a 93% favorable vote to purchase the new site at 1901 Harvey Mitchell Parkway, now known as the Southwood Campus ...
Southwood Update: - Landscaping Work Days: Supervised by our own Alan King, a local landscape architect, we will have workdays to beautify the exterior of Southwood Saturdays July 12, 19 & 26, from 8am-5pm. Contact Steven Wright to sign-up to help out.
- Grace Family Gathering: Mark your calendars for the next Grace Family Gathering and Business Meeting August 16th, from 5-8pm at the Southwood Campus! The Grace family will get a chance to tour the newly renovated facility before the business meeting begins. Sunday Services will begin at the Southwood Campus at 9:30 on August the 24th.
- Southwood Staff Updates: We are pleased to announce two new additions to the Southwood staff team: Ross King will be coming on as Interim Worship Leader and Chris Pletcher as our Youth Coordinator. They will join David Chavanne, Administrative Pastor; Blake Jennings, Teaching Pastor; and Trey Corry, College Pastor.
